YEGYouth Halloween How-to

YEGYouth is hosting a free Halloween event for youth ages 13-17.

When: Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 3:30 to 7:30 pm
Where: Alfred H. Savage Centre 
Who: Youth ages 13-17

Featuring:

  • A professional makeup artist to teach you how to create a couple of different ‘looks’ for Halloween.
  • A Costume-making station where there will be supplies to make several different costumes mainly from ideas commonly found on Pinterest. There will be pizza served for dinner and we hope to cap off the night with a campfire, complete with s’ mores. 

This event is for youth ages 13 – 17 and is free. Registration is not required but would be appreciated via the Eventbrite page: yegyouth.eventbrite.com or on YEGYouth’s Facebook page.

Big Bin Event and Picnic in the Park

Get rid of your trash and celebrate with two big events


Big Bin Event

8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

  • Bins will be located at 175 St and 93 Ave. (northwest corner of the big park)
  • Electronics: Get rid of your old television sets, monitors, microwaves, etc.
  • Household appliances: Please remove the doors from refrigerators and freezers
  • Sorry, no toxic substances (chemicals, paint, etc.)
  • Coffee and doughnuts on us!
