Temporary Transit Centre and Information Session

At the Summerlea Community League Board Meeting on April 20, we were visited by representatives from City of Edmonton to discuss the temporary relocation of the transit centre from West Edmonton Mall to a portion of the overflow parking lot along 90th Avenue.

The anticipated start date is May 10, and the relocation will be for 5-6 years while the construction for the Valley Line LRT along 87th Avenue is underway. The transit zone will be fenced off and there will be full security monitoring. View the presentation.

Register for the Virtual Information Session

To get answers to your questions about the construction of the transit centre, register to attend the virtual information session taking place on Wednesday, May 5, from noon to 1 p.m.

Note that the session will be recorded and will be available online at edmonton.ca/ValleyLineWest for individuals who are unable to attend.
