Each day of the week you will get active and experience a variety of crafts, games, sports, and free play! This program is targeted for children aged 6-12, but all children accompanied by an adult are welcome to attend.

The program starts July 4 and runs to August 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It’s free and it’s drop in. No need to register.

The City Empowers you

The City of Edmonton’s Neighborhood Empowerment team has put together a comprehensive, yet quick-to-read booklet to help you report and respond to almost any kind of problem you may observe or run into.

The booklet covers nuisances like burned-out street lights and aggressive door-to-door sales people. It also covers serious social ills that leave us feeling helpless–like seeing a car pick up a sex trade worker, or observing someone being threatened by a gang. (Did you know there is an EPS gang hotline?)

Take a moment to review the booklet, and you will discover how empowered you are to help make the city a great place to live.

For a faster lookup, we have also added a link to the online version of this information in the Useful Links menu, called “Neighborhood Empowerment”.
